St Louis Jacquard Woven Kitchen Tea Towel - Black
We created the St Louis Jacquard Tea Towel because we live here and love its history! The adventurous times of St Louis as “Gateway To The West” inspired our design. It’s not so long ago when steamboats and fur trappers were common appearances here. It’s fascinating that our Eads Bridge remembers it all… This textile can be used in the kitchen as decor, as a tea towel, or can be hung on the wall as historical wall art!
Our kitchen tea towels are special because they are artfully designed and created by us and our family and then woven on old jacquard looms in Czech Republic, Europe. We follow the tradition of the old textile masters from Europe with detailed weave work and traditional craftsmanship. This is what separates them from most productions of similar items.
Our tea towels are 100% cotton so they are not only decorative pieces, but they are perfectly usable as well. The more they are used, washed and dried, the more soft and moisture absorbent they become.
We are happy to continue this textile heritage as fourth generation in our family...
